It projected the greatness of a man who saved the lives of thousands of Jews. While most of the heartless German nazi's were killing off a countless number of woman and children, Schindler created his own camp and saved the lives of many. Schindler was a hero and will always be remembered for his amazing actions even being that he was a Nazi himself. It just goes to show you that even in the face of pure evil, some good can remain. Even more amazing was the directors portrayal of the movie and the spot-on accuracy of it all. This movie was out of it's league in it's own time.

The Treaty of Versailles

The Treaty of Versailles was basically a pact that said that the Germans were completely responsible for World War 1. They were also responsible for the expenses of the war. The treaty was created by the English and the French after the was. Because of this, Germany went through a depression, and a had a very disrupt economy and financial issue. Hitler was mainly responsible for all the lives lost, specifically the Jews. During the beginning of his reign, he was actually a really good and powerful leader. However, over time he grew to become an evil dictator. This is when he completely over powered many countries and killed many people. After the way, Americans and French then created the Treaty of Versailles to ensure that Hitler was blamed for everything.

Mustafa Kemal

Mustafa Kemal was a leader, and even the president of Turkey. He fought strongly for Ottoman Empire Independence. Mustafa Kemal was president for 15 years and wanted to modernize the people of Turkey. The European and American fashion was highly influential to him. He wasn't too fond of religion either, especially since before Turkey Independence, it was filled with Muslims. He even banned fez, a hat that people wore. He also wasn't very fond of people wearing long dresses. Before he died, he united the country with freedom and created a secular government. Mustafa Kemal was a very interesting leader.

Gandhi

Gandhi was a philosopher born and raised in India on October 2nd, 1869. Gandhi believed in justice, freedom, and independence as well as equality and peace. He fought long and hard to prevent violence from spreading across India, and even across the whole world. During his great presence, there was a vast amount of violence specifically caused by the British government. They would isolate and cause harm to the Indians. They gave the Indians unfair treatment and prevented them from using salt, and even forced them to buy goods from only them. Because of this, Gandhi protested against the British and collected salt across the ocean and refused to buy British goods, and instead told his people to make their own clothes. One day, the British decided to raid the Indians during a protest/strike and used physical force against the Indians using clubs. Gandhi told his people not to harm them back, however the didn't listen. Because of this, Gandhi refused to eat for a long time. After it was all over, Gandhi was considered a hero amongst many, but was unfortunately assassinated one day as he was taking a walk. In the end, the Indians ended up winning their independence from the British and the Islam became a traditional religion.

Extra Credit: Without Gandhi, the Indians wouldn't have gained their Independence from the British. Gandhi was a very wise and powerful person. During times of evil and distress, Gandhi was the only one brave and strong enough to face everything/everyone. Gandhi is a true inspiration for all races.
